We had a slight issue yesterday with some of our laptops. The manufacturer insists on you having things done their way, to the point of you wanting to take it outside and have a couple of guys skateboard over it for you. But fear not, the pixies that work while all other sleep have been busy updating the software and tweaking various bits and all should run like a University bus from St Stephen’s.
It was interesting yesterday that the majority of adults who I spoke to came in to find out about Facebook. Our experts were busy signing people up and offering tips and advice on how best to use it. I though Twitter would have been the ‘must have’ social networking tool – but fortunately it wasn’t the case. I say fortunately because most of the experts have never used it, “because it’s for old people,” one of the experts kindly pointed out. Pass me my Zimmer frame…
